Tobacco in a paper roll; often lit by a lighter and smoked.
Cigarettes are poisonous to yukkuri (and humans, but the effects on yukkuris are more instantenous). They can get poisoned from tobacco both as a primary smoker (they smoke the cigar themselves) and as a secondary smoker (a human blows the cigar smoke to them). Sometimes the abuser takes it a step further and places the yukkuri inside a sealed container before blowing the smoke, essentially being a makeshift gas chamber.
But the real danger of cigarettes to yukkuri is the tendency of humans to use yukkuris to put out their lit cigars using a yukkuri's body, effectively burning them. Sometimes yukkuris are even put on public ashtrays for the sole purpose to put out lit cigars, obviously to the yukkuri's detriment. Humans who throw away lit cigarettes carelessly can also accidentally burn a yukkuri or their box home.
