When a human(s) performs mass killings/capturings of yukkuri usually as pest control or population control. Wild yukkuri exterminations are usually done by groups of farmers while city strays are usually done by factory workers.
The way to tell apart exterminations from plain old abuse is that in exterminations, they're usually instantly killed or captured with minimal or no torture.
Technically disposing of house yus or house/farm invaders are also extermination but this tag is more for mass killing of multiple families of yukkuri or an entire clan as opposed to house yu or invader extermination which usually just involves one family or a group of friends.
