This tag is equivalent to family_friendly.
Anything that applies to family friendly also applies here, except for one difference.

Unlike family_friendly, this tag allows "not safe for work" (NSFW) content, like shit or even sex.

Therefore, these are the requirements a picture needs to meet to be tagged as vanilla:

• If there is danger, or threat of violence in the image, it does NOT qualify for this tag.
• If there is implied violence in the image, it does not qualify for this tag.
• If the image is part of a series that becomes violent, it does not qualify for this tag.

If you look at the family_friendly wiki, you'll see that the fourth point is gone, as explained earlier.
