The actual ending
In the text story, after Reimu gets pregnant, the woman says she is expecting a baby too. Reimu wants to congratulate, and writes a card while the woman is away. When she returns, it's discovered that she can't have the baby, and Reimu says: "Then you just have to make more little ones!", thinking humans work like yukkuri. The woman doesn't understand, and snaps Reimu's stalk. Realizing what she's done, she breaks down crying. The next day, she gets rid of everything about the yukkuri, and that's when she finds Reimu's card.
