Summary:
Marisa came home with food. She's the best hunter in the clan and even in this winter time, she manage to gather food that could make her family of two last for a week.
Not enough though. In exchange of not touching the winter food storage, her Deibu wife ate all of the food in a single munch. That's not enough and it's all Marisa's fault for not doing hard enough.
To motivate her, Reimu told Marisa to get Refreshed. Reimu will take it easy while Marisa will be more motivated that way.
Normally yukkuri know having children in winter is the worst act of suicide. This Marisa is smart so she know well not to do that. Because of her love for her family, she tried her best to fight back Reimu's advance. But after lasting several days without food while hunting in winter, Marisa has no way to defend herself.
Something happened. Marisa is pregnant with five yukkuri fruits on her head. It's impossible for her to go hunting like this. Marisa think hard and finally came to a plan.
She will ask Reimu to go and do hunting, at least until the babies are born. After that, she will do the last choice in order to let her family survive, which is by doing "Please eat up".Deibu straightly refuse. She's not taking any such nonsense because it's Marisa's job to hunt.
Out of choice, Marisa made a risky decision. Her clan is forbidden from going to the human village, but in this situaton, Marisa had no choice but begging food from human.
Luckily, none of the five babies falls down during her trip and there's a kind Mister Human who would listen to her.
Marisa told the man that she need food because her mate is injured. Marisa had to go out to hunt even though she's pregnant.
The man gave Marisa yukkuri food to eat and vegetables for her family. Marisa yelled Happyness when eating, but quickly said sorry because she learned from her chief Patchouli (ex-pet) that human don't like yukkuri doing that.
Before Marisa leave, he also give special food for the babies who although can't speak yet, showed very easy expression when feeded.
Before going home, Marisa told the man that she will never forget his kindness. She never said she will return the kindness because she had no plan of surviving this winter anyway.
Back at her nest, Marisa is again abused by Reimu, but thanks to the baby Reimu hanging on the stalk, Reimu holds back.
Then the babies are born and easyness filled the family...until Reimu took all the babies to do rub rub. Reimu claimed she's the mother and Marisa is the father. Although small, Marisa had maternal instinct too and she's very saddened by the fact that she can't give rub rub first with the babies she gave birth to.
Marisa then took her stalk and going to feed it, but Reimu take over again. She remembered, stalk is the only sweet sweet she ever tasted in her whole life.
Tasted like poison to the babies who already had their taste buds ruined. Reimu tried the stalk, but it tasted Happyness! so Reimu can't stop and eat all of it.
This made Marisa mad because Reimu eat the stalk that's supposed to be for the babies. But the babies are more important. Marisa chewed the carrots she received and give it to the baby, but it also tasted bad for the babies.
Left with no choice, Marisa took one of the twig from the barrier and stab her own cheek then feeded her own paste to her children. Even that failed. The baby she feeded her paste with quickly vomitted and died.
Marisa is shocked. If her own paste tasted bad, then there's no point of doing Please Eat Up. She's rejected by her own children who called her slave and say her paste tasted bad.
The babies truly inherit Deibu's paste.Marisa has lost everything in her life.

Mister is very interested in Marisa. There's too many things wrong with that Marisa.
There's never been any yukkuri that came to the village.
This is winter, yukkuri usually hide in their nest instead of hunting.
Marisa's babies are Reimu, so that means her mate is a Reimu and normally it's Marisa who's doing the hunting. Well, there are exception, but very rate.
He concluded that Marisa's mate must be a Deibu, and he don't like the idea of this well-mannered Marisa being crushed to death by a Deibu.He followed Marisa after that. Marisa's clan is far from the village and the path are difficult. That Marisa lost not a single baby is a proof that she's an exceptional yukkuri.
He watched as his plan rolls out and fight begin in the nest. He intruded when Reimu body slammed Marisa to the wall.
But seeing Marisa's dead eyes, he realized he miscalculated something. Marisa loved her family too much and this has shocked her.
Quickly he took Marisa out. If healed soon, Marisa might survive.He took away the vegetables out of the nest and quickly runs back to the village.

In her nest, Reimu is screaming. The vegetables are all outside the nest and it's too cold for her. Marisa is amazing to be able to hunt in this weather, but there's no way a Deibu can stand the coldness.
The barrier is destroyed, so cold wind blew in and take away the warm bed Marisa made from dried grass, sacrificing her own sleep time.
The babies starts crying because the weather is cold. Reimu told the babies to come to do rub rub together. She doesn't go to them because she's too tired. She also doesn't fix the barrier because it's too cold.
One never made it. The others are too hungry and weak. Instead of worrying, Reimu yelled at her children. That kind of weak rub rub won't make Mommy warm!
Two of the babies died, regretting why they must be born to this kind of babies.
In her anger, Reimu kicked her babies, along with the only one still alive. Before her death, the last baby said that even the slave (Marisa) is better than Mommy.
Reimu crushed the last baby.Hungry after moving, Reimu reached to the only food left. Winter food storage. It should be enough for family of two, but in face of Reimu's endless appetite, it lasted no more than 10 minutes.
After filled, Reimu felt warmth and fell asleep. That doesn't last long. An hour later, she's awakened by the cold wind and this time, there's no more helping.
Facing death, Reimu remembered her life.
She's chased out with her husband Marisa and little ones from the previous easy place because she broke the refreshing prohibition.
Her husband is eaten by Remirya.
She came to the current easy place and captured the best hunter Marisa in the clan by showing as if Marisa killed her children.
They married and Reimu arrogantly look down at her other rivals.
After that, it's an easy life where Marisa would bring her food everyday.Reimu is not wrong, all are Marisa's fault.

It's early spring already, but weather is still cold.
After sleeping for a night, Marisa turns into a bodied yukkuri and is taken as pet.
Marisa seems to lost her memory and starts saying "~da ze", but her skill never changed. Marisa never forget something she has learned. Now, she can wake Mister every day and even prepare breakfast perfectly.
Today is bacon and egg. Marisa is bored with ham and egg.
Mister asked if Marisa's tongue is already numbed because if yukkuri always eat delicious food, they won't be able to eat anything else.
Marisa touched her chest and asked Mister. Does yukkuri also get bored with being yukkuri ? Does Marisa has hand and feet because she got bored of being ordinary yukkuri ?Does Marisa feel easy now ?
Yes, Marisa feel easy, besides, there's Mister here.
Marisa eat the bacon.Mister thought, after she got bored with ham, now she loves bacon. What will she eat next ? Silently, he whispered.
