Me and Aquatic Marisa and the coming summer

Summary:

A man is resting in his room with ice in his mouth. Summer is coming, or already here actually as the thermometer is showing 35℃.

Next to him is an aquatic Marisa in a not so different situation. The aquarium's thermometer also showed 35.

When tuning to the TV, the announcer warned everyone going out to be careful of heat stroke.

He gave a piece of ice to Marisa and saw how happy the yukkuri is licking the sweet and cool ice. But soon the ice is all melt away. Marisa probably didn't even get the chance to taste half of it.

Marisa asked for more, but he told Marisa that's her part. He poked the yukkuri playfully, seeing how Marisa panicked.

Aquatic Marisa is a unique creature. They will die if they fall into water, but they spent most of their time on water. They can also move on land, but they will die if they can't go back to water.
In the wild, the weak aquatic Marisa doesn't survive for long, but that's why it's fun to keep them as pet.

Seeing advertising for ice cream in TV, Marisa asked to be able to feel cool too. Mister then has an idea. He took ice cubes from the freezer and put it into Marisa's aquarium.

After a while, the water cools down and Marisa became more active. The water temperature has dropped to 20 degrees.

Few minutes later, Mister look at Marisa again. He put too much ice into the aquarium and and now the temperature has dropped to 5 degree. Marisa is now shivering on her hat.

Mister told Marisa to just bear it for a while.
Not long after, the water temperature rises again.

Once more, Marisa and Mister is there in the room, feeling the heat of summer.

"Mister..."
"What?"
"Sorry for just now. Marisa wont be selfish anymore"
"Oh, is that so?"

"it's hot"
"yeah"
