Summary:
A man installed Yurusan pest smoking in all room of his house.
In summer, those pests came out more often and it's disgusting. To clean them out, he need to make sure the whole house is smoked.
It will take two hours and surely the gas is also dangerous to human so he will just go out and have a meal while waiting.
When he's back, he opened the door and let the smoke out first before proceeding to sweep all the dead creature into a plastic bag.
Their population is the largest in the reading room and there's even some who's still alive and crying weakly. Maybe it's protected from the smoke by corpse of its family piling up on her.
After securing the plastic bag, the man slapped the bag with slipper several times, crushing and stopping their cries. He then throw them out to the trash bin.
Now, at least he can be free for them even if it's just for a month.
These creature has been getting smaller and smaller. Just like cockroaches, they also grow more resistant to poisons, but with that their body became smaller too.
They used to be larger, but now they're small enough to hide between furnitures and make children there. It's only when they reached adulthood and can no longer fit in the gaps between furniture that human will spot them.
On his way home, he passed a pet shop selling yukkuri. He then remember... those pets used to have names, maybe Reimu and Marisa. But nowadays, they're just pests and nobody will put them in same place as yukkuri pets.
He draw a comparison between hamster and sewer rats, both are rodents by human treats both very differently.
Same with yukkuri. Even though they're the same manju creature, nobody these days will treat the pet yukkuri the same as those pests.
So, what will happen if you have a yukkuri pet and meet those pests ? Will the yukkuri feel scared with the cleaning ? Will they try to let the pests take it easy ? No, pets shouldn't get along with pests anyway, right ?
