Fragment Memories

A Reimu is yelling by the streetside asking to be taken as pet. It's already late in autumn, so this is not a weird sight. But nobody cared about Reimu. She's just another stray. Her skin is scarred and already blackened because of the dirty environment. Her hairs also lost its shinyness.

One day, Reimu woke up in the dirty alley. She might not realized it yet that she has been abandoned.

She keeps trying to appeal. She used to be a silver badge pet. She will eat anything, won't be selfish, know to use the toilet and can sing.

Of course, after all the yelling, her voice is hoarse like scratching metals. With the flapping of her braids, she looks like a mandragora being pulled out, which makes even more peoples avoid her.

Finally, someone kick and keep on stepping on Reimu until she stopped making any sound. Reimu finally shut up and just try to hold on until this uneasy thing passed.

Reimu slide into the alley without any direction. She once thought it might be better if she could just take it easy forever. But Reimu has found something to protect.

She met with a Koyukkuri Reimu.
This koyukkuri called Reimu her mother and keep on insisting so. She's very lonely. Seeing herself in this abandoned Koreimu, Reimu take the Koreimu as her child.

After that, Reimu feel "happyness". She tried her best building an easy cardboard box. Even if it's just bitter grass, she hunts for food everyday. They also have bed from tattered towel. Even though it's cold, they feel warm.

One day, after singing together, Reimu told the Koreimu that winter is coming. Winter is so cold, but the easy and glittering Mister Snow will fall from the sky. Koreimu can't wait to see the easy Mister Snow.

The next day, a human came and crush the cardboard house. He takes the Koreimu and slam Reimu to the wall again and again. Even so, Reimu still try to save the Koreimu.

The human burned Koreimu and then leave when seing Reimu tried licking and rubbing the Koreimu.
Reimu know she can't heal this, so she tried again asking to be taken as pet. That's the only way to save little one. But it's too late, the has Koreimu died.

Reimu has lost everything again.

The snow starts falling, and that day a stray yukkuri died in this city.
