Trash in the trash bin
The narrator is going to a junk food restaurant. Before eating, he saw the campaign paper promoting how this restaurant chain is being enviromentally friendly on his food tray.
All the utensils, papers, inks are made from bio-degradable waste vegetable material. It's better if you don't, but even if you eat them, they wont make you sick.
And for garbage treatments, they use yukkuri. Like said before, even human can eat those (although strongly not recommended) so yukkuri can also eat them. Their poo is then used as fertilizer.
The gruesome details are left out since it's not really important and this is a restaurant after all. You don't want to ruin the customer's appetite by talking about trash and shits.
Age is getting to the narrator. He ordered two burgers and fries, but only managed to finish one and a half. He then threw those leftover into trash bin with picture of happy Marisa and Reimu saying thank you for the food cutely.
The trash bin is sound-proof and lit with an LED light in the cover. Inside, food will go into one place so the yukkuri wont be crushed by falling trash.
Rated as yukkuri feeds, the tasteless cutleries are "super bad" level. But without anything to eat, they eat it anyway.
Marisa recognized there's a paper with leftover mustard sauce.
Marisa licked the sauce and screamed. Quickly she went to the water bottle at the corner containing water, leftover drink and ice. Regularly, the restaurant staff also filled sugar water into the bottle.
From eating tasteless cutleries everyday, even the spicy and "poisonous" mustard is a blessing. The gap between painful spicyness and soothing feeling of sweet and cold drink gave Marisa a small feeling of Happyness! inside their featureless home.
While having poo poo on their toilet, a wire mesh area where their shit can fall down, Marisa thought of the outside world. She only saw it once, the wide world outside. It's when she's taken from her family and transported into this box.
Her wife Reimu in the other hand had no problem. This is the best easy place. They don't need to fear the rain or cold. Food also fall down from the sky (restaurant operates 24 hours). Soon, they will also have little ones and they can be a lot more easier.
Filled, Marisa and Reimu rest, but another trash falls down. Marisa want to rest, but Reimu went to eat. This time though, there's a leftover fish burger between the mix. This is a rare gourmet for the trash yukkuri.
Realizing this, Marisa asked her wife to share them too, but Reimu gets scummy and say she want all of the fish burger because she's pregnant. Marisa can go eat the cutleries.
Marisa begged to no avail. Finally, Marisa body slammed Reimu and the babies fall down and die. Reimu only tried lick lick on the baby Reimu, ignoring baby Marisa.
Reimu then demanded the consolence because she has just lost her babies and attacked back on Marisa.
Marisa is a trash bin yukkuri. She's born of parents living in trash bin and raised in a trash bin. That's why she's weaker than the usual Marisa types.
Reimu in the other hand, used to be a stray, so she has better physical strength.
Plus and minus, both fights equally.
After being defeated by Marisa, Reimu ate the blackened remains of her babies. Regaining strength, they fight again until they gave fatal injuries and both died of paste loss.
On routine check, a restaurant staff find them to be dead and complained because he had to touch trash.
He opened another bin that recently has babies and take out the kids, a pair of Reimu and Marisa. Both saw the world for a glance before thrown into plastic bag and thrown inside that previous trash bin.
The corpse has been sprinkled with sugar water to hide the death smell.
Little Reimu and Marisa happily eat the treat and start their life here as trash yukkuri.
Outside, the staff quietly asked them to not fight for stupid reason and die. Although yukkuri trash processing is really handy, he just don't like having to touch trashes.
