The clan with a leader

Summary:

A man awakened in the sea of tree (Aokigahara forest at Mount Fuji, popular suicide spot). His body all ached.
He fell down to the ground after failing a suicide attempt and has just been waken up by a yukkuri Reimu telling him to take it easy.

Even yukkuri can live, why not him ?

On second thought, maybe it's not that hard to live in this place, after all, a yukkuri can survive.

He asked Reimu if she's alone.
Reimu said she live with the clan, but still nobody to take easy together with her.

The man then asked Reimu to bring him to her clan.

The clan leader Marisa quickly accepted human into the clan even though he doesn't have any sweets sweets, it's surprising.

After accepting him and letting him built a tent, they went to hunt.

Leader Marisa asked human to carry her and they embarks to the forest, following the leader's direction. Leader Marisa kept ordering everyone along the way as a boss. Even the human feel tired by the journey, so he's sure the other yukkuri would be even more tired than he is. The leader in the other hand is carried by him.

The hunting ground looks just like any part of the forest, but there's a lot of mushroom and fruits. The Human is ordered to climb the tree and pick down ripened fruits, leaving the still green fruits because it taste Unhappyness!

Back to the clan, they shared the food. The food is barely enough. The human had more food, but it's still too less. He's lucky enough to not get offered insects for meal.
The leader in the other hand got food many times what he has. Logically thinking, it's impossible she will eat that many.

After a month, the human starts to get used to the clan. He go hunt with them and help construction jobs the yukkuri can't do on their own. He also make fire and teach yukkuri to use it.
Thanks to the fire, yukkuri managed to keep their clan out of wild dogs' attacks in the night.

During that time, he got along with the yukkuri and starts to be able to recognize individuals too.

One night, an incident happened. A Reimu and the other clan member attacked their leader. It's a Revolution! against the old leader. They had enough with Marisa and will elect the Human as their next leader.

Leader Marisa asked, does the human has any part in this ?
Not at all. This is decision of the clan and human doesn't know anything about it. Hearing that, Marisa calmed down, until another Reimu came and reported she has found the leader's secret storeroom.

Inside are food so many it will be enough for the clan to eat up to a month.
Leader Marisa is troubled, but the clan member continue stabbing her and starts a party.

They burned their old leader and party all night, eating the food storage. They can now eat as much as they want, no need to hunt when they're tired, be easy.

Next morning, everyone is asleep after partying.
One Reimu is entrusted to ask the Human to become their new leader.

The Human is not in his tent. He's already awake. He told Reimu, during his stay, he starts learning how delicious natural food are and has decided to return to his family and become farmer.
He doesn't want to have a sad parting with the clan, so he asked Reimu to send his message. Someday, he will bring some of his crop for them.

Reimu is frozen in shock. When she realized it, the Human is already gone away.

The clan has lost their leader and now they are hungry.
Food storage is all eaten during party last night.
Now they will go to hunt.
Problem is... only leader know where the food is.

Rain is coming...
