When a pet yukkuri is demoted/revoked from it's "pet" status, but not necessarily abandoned.
The difference with abandonment is in demotion their onwer will still take care and raise of them, just not necessarily as a pet.
What they're demoted to is usually a compost but it can also be other things like a predator feeder.
Usually serves as a punishment
