One Yukkuri Place

They're all pretty childish. I wouldn't say this pair is shithead, but they're clearly territorial.

I mean, after all, they're the bigger ones. Doesn't necessarily mean they know how to share space. Larger animals usually push out the smaller ones. :3

But, again, I forget: this is Big.G. They're all shitheads.

I'm just grumpy because this is the third or fourth time I've had to tell a new translator about it.

Fix mister button, now is okay!

Cirno! Stop being uneasy and take it easy! Not every new easy translator knows which one to use!

    Puff!

  • Good start, but is pretty much the same story Big.G always writes.

Will probably end with the bodied yukkuri killing one or all of the four, then mister human enacts justice and kills the two bodied.

"Nest". I sometimes wonder if yukkuri are on zerg levels of infestation. Going from a hatchery, to a nest, and then to a hive.

And like in those old yukkuri comics, ravaging entire forests of food and small animals.

I believe that depends on the author -- yukkuri in forest settings tend to have medium-sized families; 2-4 units. They can survive off of anything, including grass, so it's not as if they couldn't survive if they wanted to. Tree bark, leaves, anything will do.

Well to be honest, the bad end was a given. But something that you can't put on Hy is that he didn't put hints on the backstory.

The miss whas the one that offered orange juice to Reimu early, the rotten gold badge cartel explain that in fact they are allowed to walk alone without overseers and that they're a rotten bunch.

Oh, I know, and I didn't mean, 'decent,' I meant, 'good,' it was just certain parts that were 'convenient.'

And yes, the bad end is a given, because all of these stories have bad ends. :P

  • There were a few parts of this story that really made me facepalm, like just the convenience of certain Deus Ex Machina parts. Overall, it was a decent story, just wish this guy wasn't another in a long line of artist/writers who always want every story to end with the yukkuri dying in misery.

I mean, look at how it ended. It was clear the artist wanted to wrap this up.

I just feel bad that the three players who went through so much to find peace only found it in death. Even the fight between Marisa and Reimu, I found to be pathetic and Deus Ex Machina convenient. Her owner let her wander freely around the same park where she lived? She didn't recognize her mom at all? Kills her mom? Oh, come on. Oh, and even better, 'randomstraywhostoleyourgoldbadgecanfoolyourowner.' Srsly.

Here's hoping that a kind mister or miss rescues Reimu...

I would, but I don't live in that yuniverse.

Knowing this artist/writer, the answer is no, and the story likely ends here, or possibly continues and makes the Reimu more miserable before eventual death.

Not only is he a bad owner, but a dumb one as well. Why the hell would he think a Reimu would eat something spicy?

Not only is he a dumb owner, he threw out a gold badge Reimu for eating a snack. What did that set him back, a dollar? Put her in her yukkurium and send her to bed with no dinner. Srsly, does this guy like wasting money?

That aside, yes, spicy food would have killed the Reimu, and he's gonna be without any pets when his Meiling steals another snack.

Hope dosu has it easier in the next life.

Sad. The owner could have probably talked to them and had them take care of the land for him. :3 They seemed like an agreeable lot.

    Gold badge are shitheads

    Please don't necrobump this story.

I liked it for certain parts, but the deus ex machina parts really aggravated me on both ends (good and happy end).
