Part 1: END.

I'll get around to uploading the next part later. I'm not -exactly- sure what order it goes in, but if this is how the first part ends, I'm pretty sure I know the second part.

Wait, did 891 just turn from a Reimu into a Sanae?

She looked like a premature, but now that she's grown up a lot more, she looks like a Sanae.

  • So, knowing I don't normally like this kind of stuff, why would I submit another one in the thousands of happy end stories (especially since this one is virtually identical to another story on this site that was posted years ago)? I had a feeling, and I think me hinting has given it away...

  • Okay, so, this is the first page of a REALLY LONG series.

I dunno how I got pulled into this, but this gets amazing.

    No, seriously. Just wait.

PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE EASY TRANSLATIONS! (nothing to translate for a while, though)

  • I'm... pretty much with Nezumi on this one.

I hate it when people make these convenient plot mechanics to kill off sweet yukkuri. It's part of this terrible writing core that hangs over most of these otherwise great stories. It has nothing to do with good/happy/bad ending -- it's always convenient mechanics that cause the nice yukkuri to be killed by humans, and nice humans to always get shithead yukkuri. Deus Ex Machina plot mechanics in order to create a (shitty) twist on the story and use it as an excuse to kill off the nice yukkuri.

Seriously, why the hell were they even there? "Shithead yukkuri?" That takes five seconds to determine if they were serious, and I -SERIOUSLY DOUBT- anyone called the cleaners on -them- in particular.

But, convenient tragic ending for the sake of HAPPY END!

  • The moral of this story is that it doesn't matter how kind you are, how much good you do for others, or how much easiness you wish to give to everyone else.

If you're a yukkuri, the universe fucking hates you and will see you dead before the end of your third day.

  • Well, she is still a child, so she's a little spoiled to her miss human's food, but beggars can't be choosers.

I like stories like this; not every human is totally hostile to yukkuri.

I don't think it's so much as a 'perfect' replacement; The owner knows that his yukkuri is missing, but he gets a new one, free. And really, there's not that much of a difference between one Reimu or another; As long as Miss gets a pet, and a well-behaved one, she's not particularly worried or concerned.

You've never had a pet you really love.

    Sorry, but like Nezumi said:
This stretches the credibility. The movers forget to take the koyukkuri with them, along with the miss anon, who leaves her pet behind. You know, lovers can tell when their other is cheating on them. That slight change in personality is enough to alert them. You can notice when something is wrong with your pet -- they act differently. It's part of the canon I'll never be able to accept: when a gutter trash steals a badge, sneaks into anon's home and replaces their pet. You're telling me anon is not going to notice their pet suddenly acting VERY differently? I've always thought that that was a -terrible- plot mechanic.

Anyway, poor Reimu. The dear did nothing wrong, and poor Marisa, who tried her best to get her to her miss human. It's a shame it didn't work out (though almost nothing ever does in the yuniverse for yukkuri).

  • Long time lurker. Saw this story. Thought it was interesting.

Couldn't get the booklet thing to work (or it just couldn't read the site).

Let me know if I did anything wrong.

  • This feels REALLY out-of-order (left-to-right? bottom-to-top?) but long story short (from what I pieced together): It's about a clan of yukkuri who live in the forest. Three children grew up together: A Marisa, Reimu, and Alice. Marisa and Reimu were childhood lovers. One day, Marisa's stick goes missing. Turns out the Alice killed Marisa's Reimu and replaced her bow. She knew once 'Reimu" gave birth to an Alice. Having discovered this, she killed Alice, then I guess since they thought Marisa killed both Reimu (since it was her stick) and Alice, they buried her (alive?) with her love's bow.

    Tragic.
