One Yukkuri Place

On a scale of the yuverse, that was rather merciful.

As a human being, that was pretty aggressive. They didn't do a home invasion, and it took him a while to notice them.

  • I dunno. I'm an average human, but I tend to favor the more benevolent/magnanimous side.

I'd probably have talked to them. They didn't do a home invasion, and Mister Human had a hard time noticing them -- that means they're trying not to be a nuisance.

Why is there no torture montage for these two shits!?

To be honest, I'm fine that there's no montage.

I'd prefer the artist/writer to focus on the story, and not the abyuse.

  • The trauma of her mother awakened a sleeping power within her.

No one really knows what triggers a yukkuri to gain a body, whether it be something like this (revenge), love, or just a great desire to be more like Mr. Easy Human.

In this case, it was the trauma of her mother defending her and dying. Or it could be that she has one of her mother's tails. Who knows? Still a good story, though. <3 Hoping for a translation.

  • From what I've gathered, it's a koyukkuri that this girl adopted. However, it appears her parents were possibly killed by a human in front of her, so she's terrified of humans. Miss Human decides to try and help by making little balloon yukkuri to maybe help her be easier.

  • She would have dissolved in seconds. Hot water makes bread break up faster.

And yeah, she shields herself with her braids, because she doesn't want to die. Kind of like how you see people try to shield themselves before a car or train hits them (in movies) as if putting your hands up is somehow going to stop your ribcage from collapsing.

  • Big G has shown he can do both abyuse and family-friendly, heart-warming stuff. His drawing style is interesting, and I think he captures the yukkuri as the typical animal fairly well. Watching the way typical clueless yukkuri act in his works is believable because they perform like most animals: oh, what's this? What's that? Going to mark this because I like it! Breed, eat, home, etc.

He just heavily favors ending things with abyuse. Like, whether or not the yukkuri are deserving of their painful end, he loves to draw it out with every last expression and detail.
