I will admit, the only yukkuri I don't want to destroy is the yuka types simply because they're not a blight on humanity. infact they help out by exterminating other yukkuris.

they're a blight that needs to be exterminated. they consume and breed without any end in sight. They steal crops and drive out local wildlife. No they're not evil but they need to be destroyed.

they're like locusts, except bigger. and tastier I might add, they've driven out the slimes in Gensokoyo! The poor slimes!

perhaps they're more like water balloons when newly born? especially more so since they're stalk was nurtured in some sort of liquid rather then the usual beanpaste from a parent?
