Hey, heptoct: Would you be willing to write up a "common phrases"/"common words" guide for Chinese yukkuri speech? Some things like biology (peni peni, mamumamu, stalk), terminology (koyukkuri, "take it easy", "refreshed", yukkuri) and/or names (reimu, marisa, etc)? I've noticed that on the Chinese side of things, there's a few slang terms.
I don't know if this is what meh was reffering to, but my suggestions:
Panel 2 top right textbox: you can see that the font is aligned to the right, rather than centered. For such small bits of text, aligning on a side sometimes makes it look less like a whole sentence.
If there's space, you can make the font larger, or choose a more stylized font. Up to you.

A couple months ago, I started a English "slurring guide", mostly for my own reference. It's incomplete, but would people find it useful for me to post it?
Actually, I just realized a way to get access to the missing Japanese characters (all the pages are still there in storage and can be searched, so I can rebuild the translation page via the group's search engine). 'fraid I can't do anything about the missing files though... Will rebuild the translation page since I can't seem to sleep anyway.
Sorry, not as a whole. Anything in particular? I know there was the edit/translated badge story that has since been posted here, and a couple of zips that gathered anko. I have the anko zips toawa was kind enough to create, but that's about it.
I downloaded all the pages before they went down (part of how I was getting the site up) but the stupid "download pages" feature didn't retain any Japanese font.
I personally only translate as "ze", not because of the nuances of what that may mean, only because it sometimes helps in dialogue boxes to identify which yukkuri is speaking. So I agree fully with you, Particle Man. Sure we want to be accurate, but we also want to be practical.
So far, it's been very consistent to me: yukkuri will suffer because this anon has terrible reasoning skills. It's a nicely unique style: the complete lack of malice abuse. Although it can be facepalming at times (Reminds me of the little aquatic marisa comics).
