Something Broke

I've been getting "Something Broke" for the whole day
Now it works again
Was something broken on the site or was it on my end?

It was probably a database hiccup. Nothing on your end.

It was most likely a server reboot; one of the main parts of this site doesn't automatically turn on when the server reboots (which is pretty much my fault, being too lazy to set that up, but reboots like that happen so infrequently...)
