Can't remove a tag

Posted under General

I'm trying to remove the tag "100% crazy" (seriously?) from post #19407 and it simply won't remove. Is there some kind of error?

Also, whats the progress on deleting empty pools and removing pictures from a pool?

I think it's because of the %. Danbooru doesn't have tags with that symbol.
I managed to remove it by reverting the tags to an old version in the tags history.

I don't think you should remove the 'blingee' tags. Regardless of what anyone thinks about them, that tag is useful for collecting those types of images together (even if there's not many of them).

I didn't say that at all. Regardless of what anyone thinks about them, that tag is useful for collecting those types of images together. I don't know what's so bad about them that they need to be wiped out, seeing as if someone wants to find those kinds of pictures for some reason, they can do so easily.

Removing that tag makes it a lot harder, for no real purpose. Joke/one-time use tags don't really matter, but it isn't one.

Wait, I'm confused. Are you saying I should leave the joke/one-time use tags as well?

No, he is saying that it's ok to remove tags that were used only once and as a joke (like my_brain_is_full_of_fuck that I just removed from post #25888) but the blingee tag can stay.
I agree with Tea, because that tag is not subjective and there are some funny edits with it.

right. Blingee is a watermark but its also useful for identifying joke posts that used them (about 6-7 of the images). It's a very small subset and there's no harm in leaving it in there.

As for Yuka/yuuka. What do you guys think? I think we've traditionally used Yuka for such a long time... I agree that kazami_yuuka should be 2 Us but I'm not sure about the yukkuri version "yuka".

I prefer yuuka over yuka, but I think it's better to leave it as it is for now to avoid confusion. We can change it when we start using tag aliases, if that is what most people want, and it won't cause any trouble.

I prefer "yuuka", with the original character referred to by her full name as kazami_yuuka.
