Yukkuri Breeding Observation: speech translation

Posted under General

doushite sonna koto iu noooooo!? tora-san wa tottemo yukkuri dekiru yo! marukyuu janai! pyukuuuuuuu-

Hey, all. I just got this game and so far am loving it. But I do have a few questions, if it's OK to ask on this thread.

If yukkuri are in an aquarium, is it possible to actuate the feeder from the outside? I've only been able to do it by opening the door, but the yukkuri escape. I might just not be in the right position to do it outside?

Also, is it possible to carry more than one if you're in the forest/going to the store, or do you have to transport them individually?

Regarding breeding, is there any way to force it, or is spontaneous?

"S" is the best grade?

Thanks in advance!

-you were able to reach through glass in the last version but not anymore. there is no way but to open it.

-yes, you have to carry them individually, if there is a way to take more than one it must be well hidden because I don't know of such a thing.

-we had a discussion about fast breeding earlier, placing C ranks in an area with A and S ranks is the fastest method but it also produces a lot of undesirable offspring.

and yes, S is the highest rank.

It's probably known to everybody else, but I just figured out that if you go up to Marisa in the store and touch "Sell", it'll scroll through all your yukkuri so you don't have to carry them. Too bad about not taking more than one from the forest, because there's sometimes a whole house of interesting ones.

I ended up moving them to the room with the green door. You still have to go in to press the Feed button, but I throw an eclair (or whatever that is), and they swarm it. So I don't have any escape, now.

On breeding, I meant something like shaking in the SY game. Actually, I've been finding quite a few S-class and they seem to breed true. I've had an infinity-size Alice and large Reimu that had a litter of three (two Reimu, one Alice). I sold both the parents because IIRC, Infinity means they are close to death. so I've got their S-kids, an S-Marisa and S-Flan adults, and an S micro Flan.

Since last update none of my Infinity yukkuris have died.

Now I have infinity Flandre(S) and Remilia(S) and their 6 middle sized children(S,A). I feed them well in the begining and then wait several minutes until they make 14 microchildred. Then i go to the market and sell all of microchildren, each costs 20-40k points.
After sale I feed them well and wait sometime again.

I found that yukkuri rank doesn't affect their breeding rate all that much. If you just keep feeding them, they'll eventually breed in large numbers.

The ideal number of yukkuri to produce a large number of offspring seems to be about 10. (Also, if your yukkuri counter reaches 20 before one of them can finish giving birth, the yukkuri will poop instead.)

New quote for C rank yukkuri after you take their accessories:
"Atasi aliku kutaimo" is "Atashi warukunai mon!" which can mean "I didn't do anything wrong!" or "It's not my fault!"

An S-rank yukkuri will respond to your "konnichiwa" with a "konnichiwa" of its own. A-rank ones and below will just say "Nani, nani?"

Oh, also, the "onii-chan" and "daisuki" lines are just spoken at random, not while the yukkuri is eating.

I found out a few days ago wild yukkuri will eat corpses of burned yukkuri. I've also got a zombie Marisa. She started as a C-class that I threw into the frying pan. Apparently, she didn't die, although she's brown and has permanent tears. All she does is roll in circles. However, if I pick her up, she'll eat cookies then go back to rolling.

I threw her in a room with others, and the others aren't disturbed. I'm interested in seeing if she continues living, and a Patchouli was rubbing on her-the others ignore her. Don't know if they had sex, but I'd like to see if that Marisa gives birth.

I would like to see this game have an abyuse food option for garbage, poo-poo or corpses while in captivity. Also would be nice to have a couple more types in future updates.

Confirmed. I burn a Reimu yesterday to see if my army of Flans will eat it. They won't and some rub-rub the blacken Reimu. After a while I found that there was a new blacken mini Reinu in my aquarium.

The black mini-Reimu is just like her mother, dead. But it can roll around and flap it braids, and it just won't really die. I moved it out of the pen into isolate box to observe it some more. Pretty freaky.

^Did the Reimu have her accessory? I alternately took Marisa's hat and put it back while she was in this state. I can't say it made a difference in how the others behaved towards her. I finally sold her and got surprisingly good money. IDK if she was pregnant, but I was getting tired of her crying in pain and yelling how delicious food was.

If you burn them until they turn black, but take them out of the fryer before they die, they do seem to become immortal. All of their movements are slowed drastically, too. Also, if they're fliers (Flan/Remi/Cirno), they can no longer fly.

Most importantly, blackened yukkuri can't speak or cry.

In other matters, when testing to see if I could speed up the "rehabilitation" process (removing the accessory to force the yukkuri's rank to go up) by using the forehead flick command, I accidentally killed a koyukkuri. It took around 12 hits. So, it IS possible to kill with the forehead flick, it just takes a long time. (You'll notice that the way the yukkuri shakes in your hand after each flick becomes more and more chaotic and violent; this should be your barometer for how close you are to killing it.)

I got into game yesterday and found that both Blacken Yukkuri was disappear. They were gone from the game. I guess immortal Yukkuri was a bug after all.

The fastest and safest way to rehabilitation scum yukkuri was to remove its accessory and let other yukkuri beat it. I'm keeping one B rank Marisa which I named 'Beater' and let her beat scum yukkuri to shape. I chose B rank because A rank refuse to beat up 'unesay' yukkuri while C rank would rape them to death (new update might already change that though).

I have been trying to get A rank to become S rank. So far without success. I think it is impossible.

I tried it again with three C-class infinity Marisas and one C-class large kotatsu Marisa. The scorched ones do cry when they are rubbed or bump something. And the kotamarisa did breed with them. Sometimes they rolled and crushed their baby (which was indeed born scorched).

The scorched babies are extremely fragile. I lost two of them just by gently tossing them onto the little bed in the bedroom yukkararium. I had one regular Marisa and one kotamarisa born scorched that did survive transfer, but I sold them. I never had any scorched adults disappear, but I did have a couple scorched babies disappear.

That C-class kotamarisa I mentioned above evolved to an S-class. I took her accessory, kicked the hell out of her and threw her in anger. Oddly, if it got pregnant, all it would do is birth shit-accessory babies. I did get it to breed with a Reimu and got a baby S-class kotamarisa. A Remilia bred that child and now I have a micro S-class kotaremi.

It's always funny seeing them fly around with a kotatsu on their heads.

In other news, this translation project just got forcibly rebooted thanks to the new speech engine. The new speech is a digital speech generation program, so it sounds much more mechanical than it did before.
I like the old one better.

Quote from Bluesnow on the Play Store update log:

What's New
v1.5.3.j released.
-"cooking" The fried food will extend the Yukkuri life.
I'm going to this month update v1.5.4.
Old and New voice
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4TrFgId20M
v1.5.4 work in progress list
-Renewed voice 95%
-cooking 99%
-new Yukkuri 0%
-etc 30%

Looks like it updated yesterday. I'm not on that update, and the scorched ones already still live on.

Now it looks like aquatic types will be added. There's a picture of a Marisa and a Patchy sitting on their hats. Either yukkarariums will now have water, or you'll have a pool. I can't imagine keeping them in the bathtub, although the idea of keeping aquatic shitheads in the toilet does have appeal.

Marisas now float on water using their hats, assuming you don't take them away. Other types try, but they're not as successful.

This comes into play in two places.
1. The bathtub is now permanently full of steaming hot water.
2. The forest has been overhauled and now includes random ponds.

Also, you can now tell how close a yukkuri is to death by its eyes and movement speed. Yukkuri eyes start drifting shut, and their overall movement speed slows down, as they get closer to dying.

Interesting note: yukkuri now recognize their own mother, father, and children.

There's some really emotional and cute piano music in the menu!

And there's an option to use softalk voices now.

I for one like the new voice. It remind me of the good ol' Yu doro movie. The voice really define the yukkuri actually, being both strangely cute and mildly annoying at the same time.

Sorry for double post but I just kill all of my S-rank Hybrid Flan. All 10 of them. That voice. Constantly shouting, causing lagging. So annoying. And before I realize what I am doing, I throw fire at them.

My god. All of them. Burning. The scream, confusion, begging for mercy, cry for forgiveness. for something that's not their fault. Moment later, almost simultaneously, they pop into piles of lifeless paste.

It was quiet.

I like knew forest and swimming hatcarriers. I like moving eyes.
New voices so different, old have more warm and fairy.
Yunyaa yunaa with no emotions

I sold all my yukkuris, even in my experimental 'nohat' room and 'microyukkuri' bedroom.
Hatless yukkuri drown in aquarium's pudle.

Now i want to learn to deal with kitchen. I already put one yu in fridge =))

I mute the game and listen to music. The yukkuri live longer and happier, that way. You will too ;)

There's a refrigerator and aquariums in 1.5.3J? I thought that wouldn't be until 1.5.4.
