I registered this account to say: 90% of this board is pretty messed up in the head, and I'd probably kill you in self-defense if we ever met. Try doing something productive for once beside fapping to images of dismembered meatbuns. Thanks for listening.
We love tough guys but there's a few things to note here:
1. First off, how would you even know if we were in your presence? You think there's some kind of sign over our heads that says "We love to see yukkuris get tortured?"
2. Self-defense? Are you implying that you are a crooked person who would kill us and then claim it was self-defense or are you saying that we would attack you first and then you would defend yourself? You seem to be confused and are equating yukkuri torture with real life murder of people, which is never a good line to cross.
3. I can't speak for all of the members here but my hate for yukkuris has been making me very productive. I have been learning 3D programs like crazy so that I may produce images of yukkuris being slaughtered in glorious 3D detail. You can view my progress by clicking on my name. I have gone from rough sketches to fairly sophisticated 3D in less than 6 months because of my hate for yukkuris. If I keep this up I may even land a job working as a modeler. I would call that being productive.
And This is the only one to my knowledge that faps to them, so you'll have to take that up with him.
Oh dear. Our drive-by commentator seems to be unable to differentiate between illusion and reality. I'd be worried if I were him. On a related note, this looks like one of those moralfag outbursts one can witness on Gurochan. Quite pathetic, IMHO.
You make some good points, or you would if you weren't a madman. Let me tackle these in order.
1) How would I know if I was in your presence? That's a good question...oh wait, look at this delightful line from you: SUN Posted on 2009-05-17 05:07:52 "I guess I get angry when people are happy. And when those people have no bodies, are extremely easy to kill and look this annoying and smug that anger gets pushed over the edge. Have you ever been walking down the street or around your house when a squirrel on a tree starts screeching at you and making annoying noises? Have you ever wanted to catch it and rip its nuts off? Well... you should try it sometime. Squirrels are the closest things I can get to yukkuris."
So I guess I'd know who you were when you suddenly ripped a squirrel's nuts off in front of me.
2)I'm glad that you point out that there is a difference between murder and yukkuri snuff. It would reassure me more if not for the squirrel nut ripping comment from above. Squirrels today, autistic children tomorrow?
3)3D Modeling is a useful skill and I congratulate you on it. If I ever need an image to horrify consumers, you'll be first I'll contact.
I have a few friends who hunt squirrels for sport and nobody ever gives them a hard time, except maybe a few girls who are like "Aww, squirlies are so cuuute. Why you do that?" How am I different, or do you consider all hunters to be sadistic psychopaths in need of death?
I will have you know that I make full use of the squirrel's body, not just kill it and dump it in the trash. I cook the meat and skin them. I grind their testicles and make a unique-tasting powder which can be used to season foods.
DebeliMacak, I just realized, you're completely right! Morality is for fags! All these years...wasted! The lies, from everyone! Teach me more of your great wisdom!
SUN, I myself enjoy the taste of delicious meat, and you would have sold me on the whole hunting for the purpose of survival/food, aside from one small detail. I doubt these hunter friends of yours deliberately injure an animal with the sole purpose of making it suffer. I feel there may be a slight difference between a bullet in the brain and whatever you'd like to do. I'm not you, so I can't say for certain, but public opinion is based off quick impressions, and is rarely fair.
You both make good points in the issue of reality vs. fiction, and for the record I believe you legally have the right to draw whatever you deem fit. Just like I have the right to look down upon you as scum for what you choose to illustrate. I suspect both of us will continue following our respective paths, and remain unchanged from this conversation.
Perhaps you should explain exactly why you find these yukkuris so endearing? If you took the time to look through the majority of the site you would find that they are vile, disgusting beats. They kill and rape each other in groups, are very selfish, have absolutely no morals, and are in general just plain evil.
You, as a moral person, should understand the consequences of morality, where those with less compunctions take advantage of the moral. Let us talk in absolutes, in terms of life and death, not about trivial matters such as losing money or suffering public embarrassment. When you are moral in the company of strangers you are playing a game of "double or nothing." Either they share your moral views and you live or they don't share them and you die. This is a big risk to take. Morality may put you on a higher plane of existence but in the end it's about survival. Does one bigger stronger family devour a smaller, weaker family or do they combine their strength and through shared effort prosper? This is the basis of morality. Either that or making a bold, singular statement like "Everyone has a right to live" which is highly subjective and cannot be quantified.
Now you may have seen in the yukkuri fandom how the moral, "good" yukkuris are mercilessly killed off by the bastards. How can morality exist in this vacuum? Yukkuri by their very nature don't deserve the rights that humans have and because yukkuris, unlike animals, are actually capable of evil they don't even deserve animal rights.
The only real argument you have left now is that torturing and hurting yukkuris is a reflection of the person's inner evil, but yukkuris are just food items. They have no substantial tangible existence in our world, because they are not subject to the laws of nature. They are an affront to reality and should not have any rights that real evolved beings have. They are an anomaly that must be eliminated and it really doesn't matter if their deaths are quick and painless or if they cry and suffer before dying.
You are well spoken, I will grant you that. You make an interesting point about morality. Morality is by no means a survival trait. The moral are often preyed upon by those of less character than them, and perhaps it would be easier to revert to traits of basic survival, fighting tooth and nail for every scrap. As civilization advances, however, we move further and further from these characteristics. You may say, "They will always exist underneath each person", and perhaps you would be right. I do not consider myself to be a truly moral person, truth be told. But I am an idealist, and I hope that one day you'd be wrong.
However, this is all ultimately smoke in the wind. The fact is, you hate Yukkuri because of characteristics you ascribe to them. As we have all stated, they aren't real. In effect, you hate them, so you illustrate them in a way that makes them exemplify the characteristics you hate, which continues to feed your hate. In effect, it's like punching a wall till your hand is bloody, getting angry at the wall, and punching it again. It's a self-perpetuating cycle which I find mind-blowing.
Still, you have the right to do as you please. In fact, I would not care less if you and those who share your views did as you pleased, on your own. What really ticks me off is comments like the above, though these are by no means the best examples. In every page where there is a lack of violence, someone has to come in asking for death and dismemberment. Whenever an artist creates a piece designed to be cute, someone edits it to fit the "theme". I find this behavior disrespectful, and almost feel that this is a deliberate attack on those who would prefer to avoid the violence. I am not singling you out in this matter, SUN, as I do not have any proof one way or another. However, you are the one responding, so you are the one who gets to hear it.
Since this is a pretty obvious troll I'll spare the 2 minutes while my toast is getting done.
The fact is most of us here are no different than a guy who plays video games in his spare time. Do you consider people who play GTA messed up psychotic killers that you have a right to kill "in self defense"? What about people who play FPSes like Resistance 2, Call of Duty, and maybe even the RTSes like Starcraft? In those games you actually willingly aim and kill virtual enemies. Your priorities of people to flame seem awfully skewed from that little observation, please take off your rose-tinted self righteous glasses of holier-than-thou attitude.
For that fact, what about hunters (like SUN said) that hunt squirrels, deer and squirrels? Are they psychotic killers as well? I think those people that stock 4-5 rifles in their homes along with semi-automatics are the ones you should be worried about, not people who are just talking about imaginary creatures on a small internet image host somewhere.
The bottom line is: these are works of fiction, and god help you if you can't separate these from real life. In fact, I've heard more vicious and murderous comments from sports fans than from One Yukkuri Place goers. Maybe you should bring your "justice" there instead, where it actually matters?
While I don't condone edits of artists work, you should realize One Yukkuri Place for the most part hosts images straight from 2ch. Maybe you should setup a proxy and learn Japanese so that the people that are actually editing the images can hear your opinion. None of us here (except for 1 or 2 people + SUN) have ever created original yukkuri pieces, and if you have noticed, most of us here tend to keep the love and hate separate as much as possible with the exception of a few people.
"Perhaps you should explain exactly why you find these yukkuris so endearing? If you took the time to look through the majority of the site you would find that they are vile, disgusting beats. They kill and rape each other in groups, are very selfish, have absolutely no morals, and are in general just plain evil."
The same reason why people enjoy watching, say, the Daleks of Doctor Who, who are (and despite being) essentially Space Nazis with just about as much morality as yukkuris: there's just something about the shock-and-awe in their evils.
The difference and type of violence doesn't matter, either way. I find manhunt distasteful, but it's still not immoral, not any more than starcraft. There's nothing wrong with manhunt.
I'm not saying that its immoral, I'm saying that there is a difference between starcraft and manhunt in terms of violence. And I think that Manhunt is too violent and too graphic, but that's separate from immoral.
It doesn't matter if he picked other types of violence, it's still fiction, it's meant as a entertainment and as we know, 95% of the works come from japan or china, so we lack any real control on them.
Besides, Sumgai seems to be to biased about being anti abuse to comment that the very anti abuse fans do the same thing the abuse fans do.
The replies are in response to whatever you picked out, so you're not being "constantly harassed". It still doesn't matter that there's a difference between starcraft and manhunt, and besides, in your previous posts you've heavily pointed out that because Manhunt is too violent and graphic, it is on the border of what is "acceptable" and "crosses the line". You didn't answer the question as to what the point was, so I'm guessing that there was none and now you can't justify it.
Maybe but considering your story, it's hard, to not be "Careful" or "extra defensive" on you.
And since this discussion was long terminated and you bring it up again for something silly like commenting that the violence here is more Manhuntish (even though while poweryoga mentioned Starcraft, he also mentioned GTA that works as well as manhunt in the random violence thing, just, less graphically gorey)
