so... a person near a yukkuri usually starts to act the other way he is... if the person is good he will try to kill the little things, and evil ones loves and cares about it! I feel bad seeing those images with suffering yukkuries, and love the ones they are "taking it easy"... FUCK! I must be an evil bastard and didn't even know!
What is it that really makes a person evil? Are thoughts alone enough to brand a person as evil? If so, then you, Anonymous, are evil, for you bear the same hostility as Ghost. No, you are even more evil because Ghost is simply observing a scene unfolding before his eyes; he is not taking any action, while you, Anonymous, are indicating that you wish to kill something, which is a much more despicable action than simply watching with sadistic excitement.
Therefore, this Anonymous is a hypocrite and a dangerous one at that. You can't bring judgement down on others while keeping your hands clean. If you get your hands dirty then you will become a target as well and the cycle will repeat ad infinitum.
And I have a small tip for the proper way of translating a slur: when a yukkuri says "SHTOOB IDDDDD!" it sounds like a slurred version of "stupid" because of the implied "oo" sound. A better slurred spelling would be "SHTOBB IDDDDD!" or leave off the last "b."
I actually don't have a consistent way of doing the slurring either. Sometimes its really annoying to change every letter, so I just skimp on it and go for the important words like "easy -> eajy" etc.
The difference between baby-slurring and crying-slurring is what decides which letters are replaced. Baby-slurring=schop itch Crying-slurring=zdob it Baby-crying-slurring=zjob ij
>>Also, on slurring, what's with T = ch? is a Japanese "ch" a simpler sound than I think it is or what?
Yes, that's how the Japanese text represents it. They're unable to pronounce some sounds, including T (replaced with ch) or S (replaced with sh or ch)
Although, since "Take it easy" is an English phrase, and the Japanese phrase sounds nothing like it, drawing parallels between English and Japanese slurring is rather perilous.
And because I can't stop thinking about it now, even drawing parallels between human and Yukkuri slurring isn't necessarily safe. Part of human slurring comes from bad commands to the vocal system (larynx, mouth, tongue) and part is from changes to the structure of the system (teeth, nose, tongue). The latter is completely different in yukkuri. Plus, since we don't really know how yukkuri brains work, it might not be the case that slurring is consistant (as it generally is in humans, when it's related to the brain, because it's the same paths which are causing the problems).
TL;DR, I'm still not going to bother with slurring consistency ;)
meh, guess I just incorrectly assumed the koyukkuri slurring would be as easily transferred as stress slurring. k=g s=z t=d h,p=b swapping letters like that seems to create equivalent slurs smoothly. I guess the childish slurring isn't as simple.
I never understood the very weak rationalizing the abusers use. I will grant that it is immature, and stupid, to wish another person harm because he wants to harm what is, for all intents and purposes, an animal that doesn't know better. A lot of times the abusers come across as sociopaths and are looking for a reason to rationalize their desire to cause harm rather then being incited to feel angry because of some injustice.
The problem with Yukkuri's is because it is the internet it is easy, very easy, to create them into a creature that would cause anger but most of the reasons why, I've noticed, are no different than petty issues and flimsy excuses such as them being rude. A lot of it comes across as techniques that would be used against animals as well, such as when birds kill their young because a person touched them or something like that, and translate that into removing the hair pieces.
Mostly I'm making this comment because I'm bored and because I want to see more cute pictures because all this abuse is boring and juvenile.
Also, you are all bad people and you should feel bad.
Of course it makes you a bad person, it means you're a sadistic psychopath who enjoys the suffering of others and would probably go about killing cute puppies left and right etc. etc.
I wasn't serious throughout it. Although, if there was a site anyone knows about, japanese or english, that focuses on the more cute/non-violent stories that would be cool since thats why I'm here.
I don't know, just some of the rationalizations are flimsy and the whole thing feels like guro-like fetishistic-style-whatever-the-hell-its-called of violence. I mean, this is just black lines against a black line in the shape of a blob so I'm not personally offended just that some people come across as dicks, such as going to the non-violent sections and going, "Hurrh useless statement involving violence hurrrh." so its basically just normal internet behaviour.
But yeah, I don't really care and I don't see the progression but I just feel some people take it too far.
That and I have the image of some people fapping to it which puts me off because goddamnit internet.
We figured out ages ago that going to the non-violence sections and making comments about abusing yukkuris was dumb. Likewise, there is no need for the people who do not like the violence to come onto the violence sections and start accusing other people of being sociopaths, making moral rant #2314 or demanding a justification or whatever. What you're doing right now. That's just as dickish, and pretty irritating seeing as us abusers stopped abusive comments on the non violence while the yukkuri lovers continue to complain. Don't like something? Fine! Don't look at it, don't moan. Don't complain about it. It's like an informal agreement, if you will.
