kiri-sui's done it again
Ok, I'm stuck on this one... Can anyone out there translate?
i've been a bit busy lately, I'll take a look and post some scraps on the group later.
Is anyone translating this?I tried it myself but I can't get the first panel or the last couple.
Now you know why we call this the Widowmaker. Well, I call it that anyway. I was the one translating this series; till I reached this one...
I have the next four or so in varying stages of translation... (The next two pages are quite good }:) but I can't do this one and I can't continue (and I don't have the time to dedicate to it anymore).
I think we went over most of this page in the translation thread on the groups. Take a look there and see what we're missing.
TL:1The thing I learned from really trying to abuse these guys is...
These guys they are unusually sensitive to extreme pain.
There's nothing else to say. Even though just a little while ago they looked like they were on the verge of death, having tired themselves out from crying... They're unexpectedly resilient.
2So I do this -
3That's still not enough --
4Let me hear...
your energetic "voices."
5Even though I ran out of orange juice,
Something that is sweet is still effective in healing them.
6kono hi wa benkyou igai de hisabisa ni tetsuya shite shimatta...
I can't get the last line. I think he's saying something about doing something all night and not studying? But I'm not sure.
wait i didn't check over what was already translated
Yeah, I did see that email, and I've edited in some of it, but the narrow boxes are tricky; plus you expressed doubt about some parts so I was really waiting for a second opinion (which, in hindsight, I probably should have said something about, but like I said, schedules). However, both of your translations match up pretty well, so I'll edit 'em in and finally get this thing moving again...
As I said, after this one, I have made progress on the next four or so, especially the next two, so those should come quickly.
The last line is like "Today was the first time in a long while that I stayed up all night for a reason other than studying"
