I thought a single non-family friendly picture invalidated the tag for the whole pool Though regarding this specific pool, the pooling was done two days after the image was uploaded, so it's possible that it's just an accident
I didn't know about the "bad apple" (no touhou pun intended) pool rule. I can see how that makes sense if you rabbit-hole from a FF picture. At the same time, it doesn't seem right not to consider page-by-page.

I'm going by what I've read in comments on old pictures The reasoning was to avoid issues with antiabusers getting on an abuse gallery and causing a ruckus, which is a fine reason We'd need to ask Dosu or one of the elder users about it
IIRC it went like this: lots of artists draw troll stories that start off FF then suddenly turn violent -> FF fan reads cute story -> sudden faceful of gore -> massive rageposting.
So the family_friendly tag was made story-wide rather than per-post.

Removed the family_friendly.
I think I remember reading something Dosu once said about how pools that are not family_friendly are not supposed to have family_friendly tag.
For the reason Cirno said.
Also, that was a certain someone who started that style of writing -- where things start out cutesy and turns quickly into a very dark, abyuse story.
