Ah another case of a pet yu getting overconfident and calls her owner a slave and got thrown away. Pretty okay short story I guess. I like abandoning stories but this one is too short, didn't get enough time to show the good stuffs, the regrets.
If you read the previous page, the reason they got abandoned are pretty funny. Father blamed the kid for treating onii-san as slave and the kid blamed the parent for teaching that to them.
At first, it kind of looked like the parent did an eat up easy, but then I realized it's front is facing towards the wall. The parent's backside is ripped open but the braid is on the wrong side.
One thing that stands out is how incredibly intolerant the canon has become. In lots of old pools, yukkuri can say all kinds of stupid stuff and owners would correct them or just roll with it in some other way. Today, one wrong word or phrase get them ditched into a box in an alleyway.

I think the opening is actually her mamu mamu...

Well, for short stories authors can't really show the attempt at discipline from owners, so they go the "shiddy slave means you get abandoned" way More complex stories, where the author went and added some world building narration, shows that humans try to get yukkuri to behave before leaving them in a box

Can't blame the owner for abandoning them either, you'd expect a silver badge would have at least learn proper education in language and other things, instead this silver badge taught it's child to that humans are lower than yukkuri.
