I really want to adopt this Flan as a pet ;_; And then maybe set up some kind of trap in my home to attract home invaders, which would then be eaten. Said trap could be as simple as a dog door but with an obstructing stick attached to the bottom so it can only open inwards but not outwards (allowing entrance but not exit). Now only if there was something that can attract yukkuri but not insects with its smell.... Cookies and bowls of sugar water would be out of the question then.

You could just leave the sugar water out in the backyard like on a stone bird perch, it'll attract insects and that would also attract yukkuri. Paint it candy red and maybe hang cookies on the corner.
I dunno about adopting that Flan. She looks pretty feral. Might be hard to do.
Feral as they may, all yukkuri's do seem to have the concept of "pet yukkuri" genetically ingrained in them (hence the usual wild shitheads in the forest demanding random anons to make into pets). Promising to make Flan into a pet, and also bringing along some disposable kos for extra diplomatic power (through the stomach route) would be enough to get her to follow you, I think. I mean, it's a cheesy plan when used against humans but it should work on yukkuri.

Still don't know about that. You don't see a lot of Flan stuff, and this particular one doesn't look like it'd even like a human very much. I mean, it's pointless because it's not gonna be a factor in this story. :P Flan's just a plot flag.

Still, I think bribing it with food should work :p
