Ayayaya's yukkuries are not mere bean paste and flour, but real flesh and blood!!
Long ago, I heard some rumors about some Chinese artist giving real blood and guts to yukkuries. Is it real?
So far as I know, there were no such thing happening in the circle and recently there was a thread talking about principles, avoiding too realistic settings that help ones to associate yu with real-world creatures is one of which, to comply when creating yu abuse works in related Chinese forum. Actually there used to be some Japanese artists try including settings in their works like what you mentioned and such settings were soon deprecated. Since yukkuris are already located in the abyss of Uncanny Valley there is no need to add extra settings to make them more abusable. If more humanoid attributes are introduced it feels like watching someone abusing real animals or even human beings (that's why I fiercely oppose against relating yukkuri with real creatures).

There's more but the unwritten rule of the OYP mob is not to upload such because some people are squeamish about it.
--- And yukkuri have very little real life analogs in your opinion, huh? LMFAO. Face it, except for their physical biology their behavior closely resemble an amalgamation of real life creatures and even people. Their absurd behavior have human equivalents (even the idiocies no matter). No matter how we thump our chest at how "intelligent" our species are we cannot really deny that at one point or another a member of the human race has done the idiotic shit yus do that we laugh at.
Where do you think the authors get their inspiration for their interaction with their environments? In the dimension of the state of unbeing only imaginable but not imagined in pure philosophical talks? The paradoxical state of non-existence and uncontemplation? LOL. All of fiction is still somewhat based on reality or at least how we interpret reality to be.

I have the worry that so realistic works will arouse somebody's desire to try it in real world. I like real-life analog but I refuse creature analog, as I love projecting human's veil and despicable behaviors and thoughts on yukkuri but hate introducing organ, vessel and flesh, mentioned by Cute A. I will not vomit at it and can draw a line for myself. Can you be sure others, psycho or parentless, inspired by these, will not imitate all you lol at imposing on real world stuff? OYP will be off.

I really don't have a horse in the whole "pls no putting yu's on IRL photos" debate, I can tell you about the whole ordeal of "how inspired in real life" Yu's are.
And the reality is simple, they are an almagamation of IRL features alongside a few fantasy ones but being super ultra exagerated, people can go and say "humans do stupid shit as well" but Yukkuris are not only constantly doing stupid shit they are doing stupid shit that makes humans' stupid shit look intelligent in comparison, it's super exagerated, same way how they can breed so much and having more than 1 method of breeding just to hammer further their super exagerated "pest like breeding method".
Beyond skin level similarities that can be compared for the sake of an easier understanding, it's still a fallacy to make true equivalencies between humans and yukkuris and to some degree doing so with other creatures.
Again one thing is saying "well this remind me of how certain creature do certain thing" as a way to better understand the action, another is going "well yukkuris are totally like this creature because they do the same thing (except 10000 times exagerated but let's forget this detail that ruins my argument about equivalence)"
Moral of the story, forget about equivalences, the asshole wizard as much wanted to mock toohoos with this foodstuff golems, and thanks to him we are stuck with a creature that only give us more and more stress with their invasiveness and shenanigans.
