Btw, although I really like takumi's art, in fact, I think he is one of the most well-drawn artists in the yukkuri fandom; he is also one of the most, if not the most, boring storyteller (or yukkuriteller) I have ever read. His story is always one of three following things: a wild yukkuri family, a farmer whose veggie is ruined by wild yukkuri, and the rest. Especially about the farmer things, lots of his story (this one, his newest one, pool #1328, some standalone illustrations, like post #67247, etc) are all about the stray/wild getting into anon's farm and starting to destroy the whole place, and finally getting beaten to death by anon. Still, I'm not complaining, I only hope that he could improve his story-telling skill and most importantly, finish all of his incomplete works.

Dammit. Was hoping it was a WIP story =(

Maybe its a personal stuff for him or some generic way to anger induce the audience. Kinda works. Atleast for me lol Everybody hates to get all the job and effort destroyed. The good part in the stories is that the victim can punish and relieve stress at the same time. Kinda makes me feel good for the guy/girl in the story lol. I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just expressing ^^
With how skilled he is, I sometimes feel like it's kinda a waste that he doesn't use his drawing skills to make actual manga, although the reason stated @Cosmos may be the reason why he doesn't write manga, he probably doesn't know how to begin an original story in the first place.
I'd honestly be paru-ing big time if takumi was both an awesome artist AND an awesome storyteller.
And TBH I prefer simple slice of life plotlines to the ridiculously far-fetched abuse scenarios. Another day, another farmer with a pest problem... if yukkuri were real, this'd probably be a regular thing. Though personally, if yukkuri were real, I'd be farming them instead. =)

Because drawing is only half of manga. Cool, highly intense action scenes get the hype, but well written dialogue and plot lines get the money. In some cases, very successful mangaka take a backseat to drawing in order to focus on writing and storyboarding. For example before he passed away, creator of Berserk Kentaro Miura worked as an art assistant for George Morikawa the creator of Hajime No Ippo (but because of how the manga industry is structured, Kentaro Miura was never credited and that was over 30 years ago. Imagine how many art assistants George Morikawa has gone through since then.)
Well despite this scenario is generic af ( farmer exterminate the paste brain yukkuris Who had the great idea of entering human territory) its sad it never got a continuation, wanted to see the carnage.........
