Summary:
Reimu is a lone stray yukkuri. As a Reimu type, she did quite well in hunting, but because she had no friends, she always hunt by herself.
Today, she saw a really easy Mister Tempura on the table in front of a restaurant. Reimu never tasted tempura before, but she wanted to eat it today.
Reimu's plan is to body slam the table and make the tempura fall to the ground, then eat it. She never think about the loud noise it will cause.
After everyone is gone, Reimu run and slammed the table. As planned, the table toppled down and Reimu jumps happily.
A waiter came out from hearing the noise. Seeing Reimu, he had an idea of what happened.
Reimu tried lying. The wind knocked Mister Table down, it's not like Reimu is trying to eat Mister Tempura.
The man understand. He picked the tempura and about to throw it away. But Reimu stopped him. If it's going to be thrown away, just give it to Reimu.
There's one condition. Only really easy yukkuri can eat this tempura.
Reimu is full of confidence now. She can do this.
Reimu chewed, but there's no taste and the tempura is so hard. Reimu kept chewing and cracked her teeth. But the pain is not important anymore. Reimu is now defending her identity, she has to be easy, she's a very easy yukkuri. Even so, she can't eat the tempura.
Finally, Reimu gave up. In her mind, she questioned herself.
The easy greeting she gave her parents. Her sisters. The tasty meal she ate. It's all so easy.
But she can't eat Mister Tempura... so she's actually not easy. Which one is true? So all the easiness until today is just a lie?
The waiter watched as Reimu's mind is broken.
He heard of yukkuri, but he never met one. He did this to Reimu because he heard from his friend that yukkuri hate to be uneasy. But he never expected them to be this fragile.
The tempura is a display sample he made. The weight and texture is clearly different from the real one, but Reimu who never had tempura before never realize it.
He washed away the yukkuri droll from that tempura, then found some bite marks on it.
