No, if you're thinking of the same eggs that I am, then the coloring doesn't match up. The fermented eggs that I'm thinking of are fairly distinct in that their whites resemble black gelatin while their yolks take on hues ranging from a sickly yellow to dark green and outright black. Also, inner portions of the yolk tend to be mushier than the same portions of a boiled egg.
from the century eggs that I have had it seems to match the color of the egg in the picture, but I agree that century eggs may not go well with ramen, but I used to feel the same way about adding corn and butter to ramen, but now I love it.
Oh and adding butter and corn to ramen is actually a form of Sapporo style ramen.
