Once Marisa had got a happy family. The family was killed in Yukkuri extermination by village people. With memories of her family, Marisa is attempting to poison the well by throwing aconite in.
^ I think I see some more leaves near the well waiting to be put in. But then gain, at the poor condition of that yukkuri, it is more likely for it to fall in the well than to be able to place all those leaves in.

5. Little ones, this Mr. Grass is Mr. Wolfbane (Mr. Aconite) and this is Mr. Convallaria. You can't take it very easy with both. This the reason why you never try to munch munch these Mr. Grasses.
I forgot to indicate dialogue order: 1. Picture at the low center (Reimu and Marisa) 2. Crying Reimu with stalk 3. Singing Reimu 4. Winking Marisa 5. Marisa teaching to her children about poisonous plants.
Smart little bugger, that one. Serves the retards right - if you're gonna torture and kill semi-sentients who are able to poison your water, you'd better build a bigger wall around your well.
More like they didn't do a proper job. Unless one of the villagers got a soft spot for yukkuris and let this one slip, which lead to eventual poisoning of the village.
Those walking confectioneries must be exterminated on sight.
Revenge will not bring your dead family back to life, only repetition will occur. The villager will destroy more yukkuries because what this marisa have done.next--->The End of Yukkuries.lol
As far as the aconitum is concerned, that mother yukkuri should have poisoned itself by touching the stuff since its toxin can be absorbed through the skin. Since yukkuri hold things in their mouth - until recently ... - gastrointestinal problems and oral numbness would have been the first signs.
I'm not certain about the Lily of the Valley, save that all of its parts are considered poisonous.
A smart Marisa? A smart yukkuri? How exactly did it know the plants were poisonous? Perhaps it survived it... it may be that older yukkuris are able to resist mild amounts of poisonous plants. Perhaps the memory of the toxins and the sickness were enough to enable the Marisa to teach its young.
Clenching your eyes closed while you cry does not mean eyeless. I'm removing the blind tag. Also the translation for the sign is from the child post #33047 .
As a human being of course I am rooting for the villagers, but this yukkuri demonstrates a very human level of ingenuity. Lacking in strength and natural weapons, it instead uses intelligence to make up for its physical inferiority.
Yeah, but I recall someone mentioning that the plant being used by Marisa isn't water soluble so the whole endeavor is pointless. If she had used powder, it may had worked, but as this lil leaves? People will grab it out of their buckets, boil the water and use it like nothing.
