Hmm this always makes me wonder if the reason we see so many bodied Flandres is because somehow they realized how humans may even be a form of "ultimate predator" (in a way) for yukkuris and that a humanoid form would aid their hunt by having a great deal of the limb advantages that humans have, same could be said for the bodied Remilias.
Of course that's the biological/behavioural outlook, in general bodied form is mainly for RuleofCute&Cool >A>
Agreed, really, really cute. You wouldn't happen to know the artist, would you?
Human bodies.... aren't that strong compared to other predators, though, so if they're vying to become such ultimate predators, they'd copy, like, I dunno, bears?
Inb4 yukkuri with fucking bear or croc bodies. Oh god what did I just do???
JIT, Humans are actually apex predators, currently on the top of the food chain, so them believing that humans are ultimate predators would be spot on.
It's true that humans are inferior in individual categories like speed and strength, but when you look at the big picture, humans are the most balanced and versatile, and the ability to use tools is a huge advantage that no animal can overcome.
And being able to chase down your prey isn't preferable to being able to just set up complex traps and take it easy while your quarry practically captures itself.
The thing is, that i meant that Humans may be the ultimate predator for yukkuris, as in, the ultimate foe, that who kills thems no matter what, be it a ko, an adult, a rare or a Dosu.
Animals have limits in how to deal with yukkuris, Dosus usually being that limit, but humans? no, they always find a way to use everything they have to take down the prey.
That's why i said that for a predator type like Flandre, she may think that becoming closer to the humans means becoming a greater predator of yukkuris, pretty much like humans could be seen like.
I was under the impression a "body" is something a yukkuri gets with age, It might come to play that they are usually played as alpha predators (among yukkuri's at least, even though I dont see many humans messing with flandre's, aside from that disturbing comic...), so they end up outliving most of the yukkuri's
