Well, it's a safe bet that the wound on that Reimu was caused by the shovel.
It looks like the Reimu is still imagining/remembering things (like when she saw the toasty ko in post #32940), so I imagine that it was the shovel that actually did her in.
Exactly what you see in the blue text. the word "post", followed by a space, followed by the post number prefixed with a pound sign. You forgot the "#" in your examples.

That reminds me of a certain character from Baccano. He gains immortality and later gets a "cement shoes" treatment (he is actually encased in cement) and dropped to the bottom of the ocean, doomed to an endless cycle of drowning and being revived, only to drown again.
Spoilered despite it being partially spoiled by the OP.

Agreed. Even though I'm pleased that it dies, it wasn't a satisfying death.
Something like the last panel post #33038 is sufficient for me (but I won't complain about more). It's still a single panel, but you have one pissed (and upset) Marisa making a nice bean paste spray out of the shithead. Its death has a decent amount of "oomph" to it.
I found her to be the most rage-inducing boss in the series. Excluding the Phantasmagoria games, anyway.
As DeoxysGC mentioned, also very persistent. She appears at the beginning of stage 4, is stage 4's midboss, is stage 5's boss and midboss, and comes back again in stage 6 as the midboss.
