They're scared! Stop, okay?

I'm not sure if the largest Reimu means "I'm scared" or "they're scared."

Also, the bottom-left panel looks really funny if you interpret Reimu's squinted eyes as eyebrows and imagine that the circles on her cheeks are her eyes.

Why is it electric? A plastic or rubber flyswatter kills flies just fine as it is.

It's easier to swat mosquitoes and flies out of the air using the electric kind. Because it's designed like a tennis racquet it displaces less air, so the insect doesn't receive as much of a warning, and the larger head makes it more difficult for the insect to dodge.

Yea, I get that the slogans are a dig at Marisa's behavior (and the Chinese government by extension), but I feel that this kind of specifically human political speech doesn't fit in this setting.

I mean, do wild yukkuris even have a concept of 'society?'

I agree: it's total nonsense, which is exactly why I like it. Yukkuris themselves are nonsense.

  • I made a first attempt at it.

I thought it was a toilet, but it's a human! I made a mistake because it was so filthy. Sowwy! ♪

Somehow, I don't think it was really a mistake!

I knew when writing that that it was a bad translation, but I wasn't really sure what to write instead. It should probably be like the kind of repetition someone does when praising an animal. (You know like someone might say, "Good dog, good dog, good dog. Who's a good dog? Who's a good dog? You are. Good dog" etc.)

  • Miss is rather impressed that the stupid yukkuris were even capable of coming up with a plan to trick her

I have to say I'm impressed as well. Still stupid, but impressive for a yukkuri.
