>>I can't decide if I'm impressed more because of your effort, the indirect water advertising or your underwear. This said, I want a little shrine like yours in my home.
It is very easy to make: it's a cardboard box covered with purple indian paper with a skull motif perforated pink indian paper on top of it, candy little skulls, marigolds, a glass of water (though I used bottled water), a dish with fruit, some toys (because the shrine is for a child) and a crucifix.
Skull decorated indian paper and candy little skulls are sold in Mexico and probably in Mexican communities in the US during October and November.
I couldn't understand why the toys or the water, then I remembered about the Dia de Muertos. We have something similar in my coutry too, but it's less happy-style, sadly.
And now I understand why you posted it yesterday (yesterday/today due to time zone). Poor Alichu, such a cruel fate! Yet, she will be remembered forever.
