For those who can't tell what's going on, this is a series of orange/breeding pools arranged in a column so that each stage of the population lands in the next pool to begin breeding immediately. Marisa can go out without any other preparation - Reimu needs toilets in the pools to cushion fall damage. Early on, around 1/3 of the stress is accounted for by corpses. The program starts chugging well before the third stage even begins. At 1000+ stress, areas outside of orange pools are hard vacuum and any koyukkuri so removed dies almost instantly. At around 3000 stress, the population starts levelling off due to overwhelming stress. At around 5000+ stress the population is in decline from its peak of ~2500-3000. The reason is probably the koyukkuri dying before they can land in the orange pools. Thus it's important to clear away the bodies occasionally, much like a space rocket.
I don't understand how to make this work for two reasons: 1)In my version of the game, koyukkuri don't drop when they're born, they just appear at the same spot as their parent. 2)I cannot make them fall outside of the barrier that confines the parent, even if I make the space inbetween so narrow that they cannot move at all.
I retract everything I just said; just downloaded the new version. Really hard to tell different versions apart when there are no announcements and they all have the same name O.o
Okay, just did some testing. It absolutely does help. I had fun alternating with the nest in my hand, pulling it back and forth and killing every other ko with fall damage.
