Funny that the ending (or should I say the starting point of the series?) is made wayyyyyy before the actual story, with this strip was drawn in 2016 while the story was made in 2019. At first I thought they were completely different, but after comparing post #82614 and post #82612, I find some similarity, so I concluded that they are indeed the same.
I like that Eisei likes to give decent/good yukkuri good endings rather than just leaving them to die. There's enough apathy in the yuniverse -- empathy would be nice now and then.
