Because it's possible to pity the wicked? Sympathetic Murderer and Tragic Villain are common tropes for a reason.
Tragic villain? The hell are you even talking about,
he was just a generic scum Yu that think he deserve more than the rest, he's a murderer; killers can't take it easy and they deserve a big punishment!!!!!
This may prove to be a shock to you, but most people don’t just lose the ability to feel pity if the target did bad things.
And when, pray tell, did I say otherwise?
I don't think Ctmbottomtext doesn't know what a tragic villain is, I think they just mean to express that calling a textbook paste brain yu a "Tragic Villain" is kind of too grand for this yukkuri, especially for noraaki's stories since the victim yus in his stories usually follow the predictable trends in almost every shithead story on this site. Also, you seem to be insinuating that losing pity for a shithead is something that's against the typical thought processes of "most people," which I don't think is at all the case- people often don't really give a shit when an asshole meets misfortune due to their own blunders, let alone when the asshole happens to be a fictional talking pastry that they see in a comic on pixiv.

You seem to be assuming my empathy is over the consequences rather than the circumstances.
Let's just all agree that this WOULD be justice if not for the fact that the owner was an abyusive piece of shit that brutalizes yus regardless of whether they're obedient niceheads or disrespectful shitheads. It makes it hard to say this is 'fitting consequences' considering he would have killed the original pet Marisa if she wasn't assassinated and replaced beforehand. If anything, she got off easy.
Is all you do just necrobump old posts and meaninglessly reply to ancient conversations?

In all seriousness, most of the stuff on this site is quite old, so I can really only comment/bump old content. Unless a lot of new yukkuri material somehow starts propping up and drowns out the old content. Actually, aren't you one of the newer artists?

I am one of the newer artists, and I intend to tell my stories here for a while until I grow disinterested in yukkuri. There's still newer content here, just less frequent, but there definitely is newer content and lots of it. Possibly even more content from other artists, new and old, thats not yet uploaded here.
If you want to contribute to ancient conversations from 8 years ago where the people in it are probably long gone from the site by now, you can just click the "no bump" button at the bottom of your comment before you submit it. I'm sure people here would like to converse with you on stuff, but just newer stuff and not the same tired ol' stories.
There are still plenty of omakes and comics (preferably mine, not to toot my own horn) you can comment on and make conversation on, just chill out with the necrobumping, personal advice.

In that case I apologize, I did not know bumping old threads was troublesome for users who sort the newer works. It's my first time actually making an account for a booru - most of the time I just save one or two images I like without interacting with posts - so it didn't even cross my mind to not bump them, I got too caught on trying to catch up to yukkuri stories as a newcomer.
I did not expect people that I was quoting to actually reply to me, I understand most of them probably don't use the site anymore. This was more about trying to comment on the posts and discussions themselves for other lurkers like me. Since there are plenty of posts here from 8-10 years ago with comments made as recently as just 1-2 years ago, I didn't think that would be anomalous behavior. From now on, I'll make sure to only bump content if it's new and relevant.

So, while I'm not an admin, I can tell you that the official, 'no necrobumping,' rule is basically removed primarily due to the fact that the site has so few visitors anymore that it doesn't really make much of a difference.
