Stripped down version of the anko, if one's curious:
Anon is a researcher of yukkuri ecology who is working at a countryside factory, and he is considering his job freaking boring because all he was doing was nothing more than crushing manjuu's who couldn't say anything other than "Yunyah, yunyah" when abyused, regardless of their niceheadness or shitheadness.
And this time, he is being told by his chief that according to the abyusers in the town, recently the Maricha's are talking strangely during abyusing: they are prefixing "Lots" to the "can't take it easy" catchphrase.
Anon gets into work into no time by preparing an alcohol lamp and packs of food-grade Maricha, which couldn't be sold by the manufacturing facility and "have minus value of existence as long as they are alive".
After burning up the foot and grinding 3.5 packs of Maricha, anon finally finds one who said "Lots can't take it easy!". To confirm whether "Lots" is referring the level of footie burning, anon burns Maricha's foot and asks her about what does "Lots" mean repeatedly. It turns out to be a failure and anon thinks he looks like filming an AV.
Anon can't figure out what does "Lots" mean, and he decided to reproduce the phenomenon in the lab and call it a day. Among 300 Maricha's he burned, 7 of them was found saying "Lots". He also try to do the same to the Reimyu's, but none of them said "Lots". Other types are rare so anon didn't bother to do experiment on them.A month later, completely forgetting the report he uploaded before, anon is told by his chief that the "Lots" phenomenon is also found in other places around Japan, and the rate is rising. Other factories also reported that such trait is only seen on Maricha's, as none of the other types cried "Lots" when abyused.
Anon's report being the first in the row so he is asked by an Maricha-loving mohawk MP to resolve the problem for all the abyusers in Japan.
During abyusing Maricha's, it comes to anon that "The yukkuri-wide unconsciousness theory", which assumes all yukkuris share the uneasy memories, might be able to explain the phenomenon. One example is "Amagiri", the abyuse of pulling out yukkuris' eyes. Initially it's someone's name, but now all yukkuris consider the name can't take it easy.
Anon asks his chief whether he can get some funds, and thanks to the MP, it's a piece of cake. Anon buys 100 platinum badge Maricha for researching. While he is enjoying the abyuse of betraying kind-hearted yukkuris, he asks: "Does 'lots' really mean 'lots of sth'? I'm feeling doubtful about it."
Anon burns the platinum badge Maricha, and she let out a bunch of numbers instead of simply "Lots": "Mister Three-two-four-eight-two-oh-double-eight, thirteen-six-one-eight-one-double-two-oh can't take it easy!"
Anon deciphers the numbers and considers them to be coordinates pointing to an unmanned island south of kii peninsula, where a youngster went missing when having fun with rubber boat. The youngster's last photograph on social media was shot on the rubber boat with a black hat accompanying, and he has interest in abyusing, as confirmed by the local factory.
Anon joins forces with JSDF to search for the young man. As he is imagining the youngster being an abyuser and has been torturing yukkuris and making them edible to keep him living, the ship he is riding gets near to the island.
Via the telescope, anon can see there's a SOS sign written with yukkuri pastes on the beach, and something seems to be a living man is moving beside it.
Anon can't see the detail very well, but he knows that the man there is a mohawk, same as he himself.
