Yukkuri generally being used as food (or food producers via repeatedly breeding them to eat their kids or stalks), or as inputs into some industrial process; as opposed to being pets or strays.
These types of yukkuris are bred from poorest quality parents and as a result have very limited lifespan. Even if they somehow escape or survive, they usually do not last long.
