An explanation of how to make "yukkuri liquor." Basically, you take newborn baby-yus, wipe them clean, place them (not stacked or touching) in a wide container, and submerge them in a mixture of orange juice and shochu liquor. According to this story, yukkuris inhale and exhale just because they _think_ they breathe air; they don't actually need to breathe to live, so submerging them makes them suffer but not actually die. The orange juice provides them with nutrition and keeps healing their skin so they don't melt. As they drink the orange juice, they have to pee, and then being surrounded by pee upsets them more. After keeping the container for a month in a dark place, you have delicious yukkuri-pee-infused liquor. As a bonus, you can dry the yukkuris in the sun afterwards for a tasty snack.
