That would freak me out so much if the thing i was eating was screaming everytime i chew to the point that i swallow it...make sure food is completely dead before eating damn it!
Well if this Remilia is actually a Bodied Remriya like some theorized, this would make sense a bit, remember Remiryas eat their preys live.
But yeah, eating living stuff is yuck, reminds me of that famous Korean Squid thingy you have to eat alive even though there is a probability of the bugger clinging on your larynx, trachea or any inside throat part.

Well, not every Korean likes those... I mean, I'm Korean myself, yet I certainly do not want live octopi squirming down my throat :P (yes, those are octopi - as far as I know, that is)
I think the only thing you can really consume raw are seafood. Anything other stuff will be too big for you to be munching on in today's "civilized" world.

Not a worm, but it was something wriggling and red and definitely wormy. When you chopped it up all the individual pieces were moving independently. I ate it with some hot chili paste and garlic wrapped in some lettuce, and when I swallowed it I swear I could still feel it wriggling in my stomach.
But it was in a seafood restaurant in Busan so I guess it was seafood.

Oh, korean lettuce wraps? Fun stuff to eat, very stuffing dependent though.
If it was red and moving independently chances are it was chopped octopus tentacles; it was already dead and simply twitching. You should try the live shrimp next time, but don't take the head and legs off (but take the tail off!). Just bite it from the tail-side to the neck and you can feel the shrimp legs flailing around inside you.
Oh and the worm thing was because I figured people would have had it while drinking tequilas. (Yes, I know they're novelties, but if you're mature enough to drink, you should be mature enough to know that eating a raw, uncooked worm won't harm you)

Don't think it was octopus tentacles, it was almost a blood red color. It had no suction cups and the lady chopped it up right in front of us to show us how fresh it was. No crawly legs either, I'm thinking its either some sort of sea worm or some type of sea cucumber.

If it didn't have crawly legs on it, it was most likely sea worm. The crawly legs is part of the texture of eating sea cucumber so they (almost?) never cut that off.
Its possible but I find that unusual. Shrimp is pretty pervasive in Korean cooking.
