Depending on your fanon, they don't breathe, so they technically wouldn't be able to blow a bubble. :3 Then again, she could puff-puff and just blow out the exhaust.

  • That's Marisa's child. Marisa isn't a shithead -- she hoped miss can save little one... but, such things don't happen in these kinds of stories.

  • I don't really advocate karma in the view you do -- all these stories have the usual narrative. 'betray the owner'

Yeah, but they're young. They make the choice to mate with a stray -- sometimes the stray is doing it so they can become a pet (sometimes again), they get tossed, and everything just spirals down from there, and inevitably ends in death for the whole family.

It's been done worse, it's been done better.

Also, the miss did have the option to simply help Marisa and save her little one, then still turn her away. Just because she got a new pet doesn't mean she couldn't help Marisa.

Regardless, without any speech, it's hard to say if there was any real shithead attitudes. Everyone seemed pretty even-tempered. Even when out in the wild, Marisa forced herself to get used to eating bugs and grass, even though her pallet was used to tastier foods -- usually an easy shithead flag.

If you want 'better' versions of this story, try these:

  • In spite of the endings (because all these stories have the same endings), I think one important moral that one could extract is that one doesn't always necessarily need luxuries to be happy. Being a pet with a warm place and good food isn't necessarily what life is all about, and doesn't necessarily lead to a fulfilling life.

Life is about living for others. Something they're originally trained to do (live as a pet to help a human take it easy), but learn what it really means when they have their own family.

While I agree, that abyuse is basically almost all content posted to this site, it is policy for you to not post anti-abyuse comments on abyuse posts.

If you don't like the content, friend, post your own. Counter the abyuse with FF. Go scour Pivix, or make your own.

Likely, what happened was our Marisa was purchased by an abyuser. The abyuser got their fun out of them, then simply kicked them to the curb like this, sign included, and probably was even watching to see what happens; just to record the misery and how other people will react.

Why else would Marisa's hair still be there so neatly piled?

  • No.

When something is meta, it refers to metaphysical. In cases of stories or games, it's the idea that the characters in the story are typically aware that they're in a story, and/or are aware of the reader, and typically talk to you as if you were in the room.

    See: Undertale, Deadpool, OneShot, etc.

Yukkuri don't need to perform industrial-sized farming. They can grow small farms, and even mostly use tubers. They also hunt bugs, so farming crops wouldn't be the only method of food.

There have been multiple stories with farmers going on reverse raids, as well.

Personally I'd much rather let the easy yukkuri take it easy. Nature does enough of a job selecting for shithead behavior without us to help it along.

If they're cultivating their own food, then they're not raiding your farm.

I'll never understand the idea behind raiding a yukkuri's farm.
