Anko3105: Scum and Deibu's family
Story starts with a Marisa coming back from hunting and telling its Deibu mate to get out of the way so it can go in, ignoring its demands to let it take it easy.
There's some back history on the Deibu, how she always ate and slept, having gone through 3 marriages with every partner getting sick of her. But Elder Patchouli didn't want to break the no-killing rule, so Marisa became her next mate. However, Marisa isn't the sort to spare the rod; she beats up the pregnant Deibu, since Marisa is scum.
The only reason Marisa keeps Deibu around is because Deibu's mamu-mamu is pretty good. When Deibu initially tried to make Marisa its slave, Marisa just beat it up and knocked out a few of its teeth. This punishment happens at least 5 times a day.
Finally, the little ones are born, two Marisas and two Reimus. But each time, Marisa insults the little ones, saying they look stupid, should or will die quickly, etc.
Whenever Marisa goes out to hunt, Deibu teaches the little ones, painting itself as a hard worker who Marisa never lets take it easy. But Marisa comes back to catch one of the little ones saying that Marisa should die easy, and punishes Deibu by withholding food while feeding the little ones bitter grass.
2 weeks later, after sneering at the Komarisa's attempt to attack it, Marisa brings the little ones out to hunt. One says it'll hunt mister butterfly, another says it'll collect grass, the third flowers, and the last one mister caterpillar.
Marisa snatches the butterfly out of the air where the koyukkuri failed, and taunts it, asking if the strongest Marisha wants the scum Marisa to teach it how, and gloats over the great taste.
Marisa sneers at the pitiful collection of grass the Reimu has collected, and asks if it can eat those. Koreimu says it can, but to its dismay finds that the grass is bitter. Marisa makes fun of it, saying it takes after its mother.
The other Reimu doesn't realize it can get mister flower by snapping off the stem, and just jumps uselessly, while the other Marisa doesn't know where to find caterpillars. In the end, the koyukkuris return home dejected, where Marisa gives them food, while punishing the Deibu by sticking a branch up its anyaru.
As time goes on, the koyukkuris become great hunters, teaching other members of the clan how to hunt, having learned by imitating their father after the failure spurred them to prove Marisa wrong. They realize that the reason the other yukkuris compliment them is because of their father, while understanding that their mother is a useless yukkuri who doesn't do any of the usual chores like cleaning the toilet, putting up the barrier or building up food stores, all of which Marisa does on top of hunting.
One day, a Flan attacks, ravaging most of the clan. The 4 koyukkuris think their father has gone crazy when Marisa nonchalantly picks up a branch and says it's going out to hunt while the rest of the clan is panicking with Flan outside, while Deibu says it'll escape while the little ones serve as bait.
Flan finally enters the undefended nest, and sees the family... before Marisa stabs it with the branch and ends its life. Marisa then proceeds to lecture the koyukkuris about eating Flans and Remiryas. It then tells the koyukkuris to eat the wings, while it takes the rest of Flan's body for itself, leaving Deibu with nothing... at least until Deibu claims that it should get something for giving birth to the little ones who were used as bait.
Marisa then starts teaching the koyukkuris how to deal with home invaders and such...
Eventually, the little ones grow up and leave, and Marisa tells them to get out while Deibu begs them not to leave their mother behind. Marisa reminds them that they'll see each other since they're hunting in the same area. The grown up yukkuris thank their father, who brushes them off. Marisa thinks it has finally gotten another chance to use Deibu's mamu-mamu.
