A young girl is disgusted to find a house-yu Marisa parent and child in her kitchen. She kills them with chili-pepper spray. Remembering the saying that for every house-yu you see, there are a hundred more, she sets off some Yurusan-brand anti-house-yu smoke bombs.

There's a colony of about a hundred house-yus living in the kitchen. Trying to escape the deadly smoke, they flee to the house-yu colonies in other rooms of the house, but encounter more death and smoke wherever they go.

An hour later, the girl is hesitating outside--afraid of seeing gross dead house-yus, she waits for her brother to come home and go in with her. He teases her for being afraid, but when they go in, both of them scream at the sight. Practically in tears, they must sweep up all the little corpses in the house.

The author scolds the reader for laughing, saying, "Is *your* house okay? If you're not careful... Look! There's a house-yu right behind you!"
