O.o errrr..... I.....don't think 'deibu'ness is determined by appearance, but by attitude/actions. So, despite LOOKING like a Deibu, it wouldn't actually BE one.
Isn't deibu the term for "shithead Reimu" these days? So bit of an oxymoron there. However, just because it looks like a deibu doesn't mean it really is one.
You have to consider that the guy reuses a lot of his sculptures so it isn't like it's a consistent cast of characters but just the guy using the same sculptures for various stories, so the Deibu King of one Story if the surprisingly "Deibu Looking Good Reimu" of another.
If you are Yukari Yakumo, all you actually need to worry about is the mechanism that move the house parts, the bottomless pit is easily a big and dark gap.
Just to troll a little, "she isnt acting like a deibu"?, she squashed and stole the accessory of some of them, I noticed there was a splash in the wall (bean paste?) before the whole thing happened, so this most likely wasnt the first time.
If reimu moves like a deibu, talks like a deibu, acts like a deibu, reimu's definitely a deibu, right? Now what if said reimu only does those things when "on duty", but is actually a nice, helpful yukkuri, would this deibu still deserve the hate heaped on the stereotype she only resembles part of the time?
Pointless, I know, since the deibu hate only calls for her squashing anyway.
I said it once and i'll always say it, a Deibu is a shithead in heart, looks alone won't make it, i bet one of this days "cute" looking deibus will appear.
The Reimu part of the defense system may look deibu, but, considering she's dealing with invaders and helps to clean up and put everything back in order, i wouldn't call it a deibu.
